Done Right

Kitchen Backsplashes by Steve & Angelo

A backsplash sits at eye level, so every cut shows. The difference between an ordinary backsplash and a great one is in the layout: centering the pattern on the range, lining up grout joints with the cabinets, and making tight, clean cuts around outlets, windows and the end of the counter.

We install backsplashes throughout Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills and Camarillo, from simple subway tile to stone with a custom accent behind the stove.

You deal directly with the two people doing the work. Call or text 805-341-5986, and estimates are available on request.

The Whole Kitchen

Kitchen Floors & Specialty Backsplash Tile

We tile kitchen floors as well as backsplashes. A kitchen floor takes more abuse than almost any room: dropped pans, spills, chairs sliding and constant foot traffic. Porcelain and natural stone tile hold up to all of it and clean easily, which is why so many Thousand Oaks homeowners replace worn vinyl, laminate or old tile with it. We remove the old floor, prepare a flat, solid base and set the new tile so it stays level and crack-free.

On the wall behind the stove and counters, we install more than classic subway tile. Glass mosaics, patterned cement tile, handmade-look zellige, marble and stone accents behind the range all need careful layout and cutting around outlets, windows and cabinets. That detail work is where an experienced tile setter shows.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a backsplash install take?

Most kitchen backsplashes are a short project, but timing depends on the size of the kitchen, the tile and any old tile that has to come off. We'll tell you what to expect before we start.

Can I choose my own tile?

Yes. Many homeowners pick their own tile, and we're glad to help you choose and figure out how much to buy.

Do you remove the old backsplash?

Yes. We can remove the existing tile and prepare the wall for the new backsplash.
